Zarilli Christmas Party

This is the second Christmas party that we have attended at our friends Josh and Lauren's. They have some kind of theme every year, and this one was channel the flannel. My friend Pam set up a photo booth for the event.

It was a fun time and nice to see friends we haven't seen in a while.

We ate…way to much..sang Christmas songs and just enjoyed this season of being together. Can't wait till next year!

Before & After: Master Bedroom

I finally got around to re-doing our master bedroom. It seemed as though we had a hundred other things we'd rather spend our time doing. But enough was enough. Our bedroom was just a sad, un inviting place that we didn't want to spend any time in.
I started by painting the walls, ceiling, and our main dresser all white. You couldn't really tell how awfully yellow the walls were until the glorious white paint went on.

Bed area with the awkward little window.

Reading nook before. Yes that is a blanket tacked up as a curtain. I warned you it was sad.

The very cluttered gallery wall with our very dated dresser.

I decided to hang curtains from wall to wall to cover up that awkward little window. It makes the space look so much bigger. I also wanted an accent wall of a different color but couldn't decide on one. These curtains are the perfect solution; I can change them out for different colors as I please.

After gallery wall. Much less cluttered. And the re-done dresser! It's amazing how far a little paint and new fixtures go.

After reading nook. Such a more inviting space.

I'm so glad to finally have our master done. We are slowly making this house into our home and it's a lot of fun and a lot of work. I'm glad we are going so though, taking our time, and really deciding how we want things to look. We hope this is our forever home and we are doing the best to make it feel like it too.

Tree Hunting 2014

It was finally time! We went over to my parents house to go look for our Christmas trees. We headed to Wheelers Tree Farm; the same place we've been to for the past 17 years.

+ Me and the Broski +

The dogs of course loved it. Running around the whole farm, getting lost in the trees.

Once we found our perfect tree it off the house to make pizzas and watch The Christmas Story.
