A Wedding Weekend

This weekend, Cory and I were blessed to witness the wedding of one of Cory's old college buddies.

The wedding took place at the Ranch at the Canyons. A perfectly picturesque place just nestled below Smith Rock State Park. The views were stunning and the venue where the reception took place made you feel like you were in Tuscany. Not that I've ever been there, but it was just how I imagine it would be.

The bride and groom made a gorgeous couple. Their vows were sincere and you could feel the joy just beaming from them.

This wedding was especially fun because we ran into a ton of Cory's old roommates. In college he lived in one very large house that housed around 50 guys. It was fun to see him be reunited with them.

Again, those views.

We ate and danced into the night. I was pretty happy I had such a hot date.

Our only wedding of this year and I was so happy we got to attend it.

Chris and Danielle, we wish you the upmost joy as you begin this journey!

To love and weddings,

This month was a full one. We kept busy and really enjoyed some of the perks of Oregon in the Summer-time.  The photos above really capture some of my favorite moments of the month. I'm really quite sad that the month is over. July is probably my favorite month of the year. It's my birthday month, so how can it not be my favorite?

This last month really made me appreciate time off and being with family and friends. It made me appreciate, again, how wonderful summer and sunshine is.

Even though July is over, I welcome August with open arms. This month will be fun one too. We are headed this weekend to Central Oregon for a wedding, the best way to start the month. It should be hot and fun. Just how I like it!

To summer-time,
