New Year's Celebration: Ringing in 2014

This NYE we drove up to Seattle to ring in the new year with some friends and my sister. Soon after we arrived the festivities began. The night included glitter, lots of dance moves, some jump roping, and of course the best food and cocktails in town.  

This photo doesn't do it justice, but we had one of the best seats in the house for the firework show in Seattle. My sister's boyfriend lives just blocks from the Space Needle, with a view right from his living room. We saw a fantastic firework show. 

Not much beats being with some of your favorite people reminiscing about the last year and celebrating the hope and excitement of the new year.

This year has brought so much joy for Cory and I. We've had new experiences - buying a home, traveling more together, adding some fur-babies to our little family. We were so blessed to have made new friends and foster those relationships over the year. 

Coming 2014 we have some little and big adventures planned and I am beyond excited. The Lord has blessed us with so much health and happiness I can only begin this new year with a fully grateful heart.
